Mini Jazz Club
In the Jazz Club, children and young people aged 7–12 discover the exciting world of jazz while building musical and artistic skills. The aim is to foster creativity, teamwork, improvisation, and musical independence. Participants develop a deeper understanding of rhythm, harmony, and ensemble playing, while learning how to express themselves through music and boost their confidence.
What We Do
Children are introduced to different jazz styles and rhythms such as swing, blues, Latin, and funk. They practice rhythm exercises, body percussion, and improvisation, and play both melody and accompaniment instruments. Together, they prepare simple jazz pieces and take part in performance projects, from small internal concerts to fun class presentations. The course follows principles of elementary music education (Orff/Kodály) and emphasizes group work, peer learning, and improvisation techniques. Lessons are led by professional music teachers with a strong pedagogical background, in a child-friendly, inspiring environment equipped with high-quality instruments. Small groups of 4–10 children guarantee individual support and lots of room for creativity.
